Vocational Training for Women from SAW’s shelters

In 2008, SAW conducted a basic vocational training which was sponsored by Rotary Club of Coomera River Midday. It is aimed SAW’s income generation program to be able to run sustainability.

On March 24, 2009, the children at Children’s Crisis Centre of SAW decorated their home with paints. They painted on the wall and all the children participated actively and happily.

Social Action for Women (SAW) was founded in June 25, 2000 to assist displaced women from Burma who are in crisis situations after having fled to Mae Sod, Thailand. SAW is based in Mae Sod and was established to support women facing difficulties through the provision of shelter, health education, rights awareness, counseling, and vocational training for unskilled women.
