The summer computer class is held for the older children from SAW shelter and the students from SAW boarding house. The purpose of the class is that the students will get the basic skill of the computer and we want them to spend their summer holiday time happily and effectively by learning and practicing the computer kills that they acquire in the class. In the class, the children especially learn about the basic computer skills; Microsoft Word, Photoshop, layout design of publication, how to use email and internet.

On March 24, 2009, the children at Children’s Crisis Centre of SAW decorated their home with paints. They painted on the wall and all the children participated actively and happily.

January 10, 2009 is the Thailand National Children Day. SAW's orphans, who are going to the Thai public school, took part in the celebration of Children Day which was held in their public school in January 9.
Social Action for Women (SAW) was founded in June 25, 2000 to assist displaced women from Burma who are in crisis situations after having fled to Mae Sod, Thailand. SAW is based in Mae Sod and was established to support women facing difficulties through the provision of shelter, health education, rights awareness, counseling, and vocational training for unskilled women.
